I love shoes. I love shoes very much yet I’ve controlled myself this year (it’s STILL February though). This has been my latest and only shoe purchase this year, for now:

I’m in love with these shoes. They’re not too pointy, are very comfortable, easy to walk in, look amazing when on, can be worn just about anywhere with just about anything, I live in a tropical island so I can wear them all year round, and guess what? I got them at Payless. Yes, Payless.

I think that the spring 2013 collaborations between Christian Siriano and Isabel Toledo for Payless (yes, Payless) is one of their best ones yet. Christian Siriano’s Gold Collection for Payless is perfectly on trend for spring 2013. The small collection consists of iridescent, pastel, and polka dot prints on oxfords, flats, sandals, and pointy Mary Jane pumps *sighs*. So if you can’t afford Miista’s Zoe oxford (and you like gold and pink), you should go to Payless.

Isabel Toledo’s collection for Payless continues with the black and red color combo with straw details that sets Toledo apart from the rest of the collaborations. This time she added tan cutout flats (which I want very badly, I can’t have enough brown/tan shoes in my closet) and striped slip ons that go hand to hand with the spring 2013 stripes’ trend. The pair shown above is from Isabel Toledo for Payless.
