Downhill skateboarders rejoice, Guajataka Downhill is back and bigger than ever. But Im not going to talk about the skateboarding (I don’t know how to skateboard, [pause for laughs], but I want to learn). Guajataka Downhill is also a music fest. This is the second occasion where the organizers of the event have booked talent to entertain the crowd after competition hours.
The competition/music fest will be from Friday, January 25 to Sunday, January 27 at the Pedro Hernández basketball court’s parking space in Quebradillas. On Friday and Saturday, the music will start at 9PM (until 1:30AM) while on Sunday it will start at 6PM (until 9PM), although I’m not sure if there will be music on Sunday since that’s when the competition prizes will be awarded.
The acts that will play at the music fest range from the very old school to new, young bands. I haven’t listened to most of them but since it’s free admission it won’t hurt to go and check it out.
