… I decided to go to The Beer Box, an establishment in Aguadilla, near Gate 5, that sells craft beer (both local and international). They invited some local designers to present and sell their handmade creations and a local musical group was closing the event. Ironically I wasn’t interested in the music group since their style it’s not of my taste. I was interested in what the designers were going to be selling so I gave myself a two hour/two beer limit. I liked the accessories from Tres Estrellitas. It offered bold printed clutches, bows, and fanny packs made from men’s ties. Below are some photos I took at the event.
My favorite print of them all was the Elvis print.
One of the things that got my attention from Tres Estrellitas (other than the cool Elvis print) was that some of the fabrics come from old garments. Sustainability just keeps getting cooler.
What are your thoughts on the prints? Would you buy any of these accessories? What are your thoughts on sustainability in fashion? Sound off below.
Have a great Thursday!
Till the next post!! Take care.
