Not too long ago I read or heard someone who’s prominent in fashion (but I don’t remember who it is, HA!) saying that skirts are out and it’s going to be all about pants and trousers for the second half of the year and beyond. It seems that some fashion insiders are starting to get tired of the feminine skirt trend and just want to wear their pantalones. I love skirts but pantalones are my thing. It’s because I’m ridiculously lazy when it comes to shaving my legs. And I play volleyball, so I HAVE to shave my legs.
I had practice yesterday and I thought “Fuck it, I’m wearing the cropped sweats but I’m not shaving my legs”. You could still see the hairs but I was among women and when I’m playing the last thing I’m thinking about is the opposite sex and how repulsed they might be due to my laziness. I remember that in high school I would buy the really long socks for men so I wouldn’t have to shave them so often. I’m going to have to visit Wal-Mart soon.
I’ll stop rambling about my hairy legs and will continue with today’s topic: pants of the printed kind. I LOVE printed pants. I purchased two just a few weeks ago. I like the relaxed fit, like palazzos, harem pants, wide legs and flares. The more fitted pants like the straight leg pants are great for work if your job’s dress code permits this. I did some browsing to find pants that aren’t just printed but affordable. Although Net-a-Porter and everyone else that sells prêt-a-porter has sales happening at this very moment, some of us still can’t afford them without going broke or hungry or both and then some. I chose three websites: Forever 21 (affordable and accessible to everyone), ASOS (more exclusive than Forever 21), and PacSun (relaxed fit and exclusivity since most of the pants are sold only online). You will definitely find a nice selection for your taste and personal style in any of these websites. From each of them I chose three pants to show you, so you can get in the mood *wink*. I recommend wearing printed pants with fitted solid colored tops and neutral accessories. You don’t need much because they’re statement pieces and will get a lot of attention on their own.

Fun fact: One of the pants that I purchased (along with this one from this photo) was the first one from the PacSun picture. *Two thumbs up*
