For this week’s prints’ post, I decided to focus on a new festival and vacation favorite. I call them exotic prints, since most of these prints have been inspired by experiences and images from trips abroad and exotic locales. There are various types of exotic prints with many names. Navajo inspired and tribal are just two examples of what you read/hear on the websites/streets. I think it’s the edgiest print of them all and I believe that because of this it has become a favorite among the young “hipster” crowd. If you’re considering purchasing an exotic printed garment, I recommend you to go with summer dresses, pants or accessories. Printed pants are a major trend right now and this will continue all the way to Fall/Winter 2012. They’re also easy to style with basic tees or button down shirts. Exotic prints are bold so style cautiously. Below we have two sets featuring garments in various prints. The first is the prêt-a-porter set that includes some awesome Sandro garments and some amazing Carven shoes. The second set features more affordable garments from festival favorites like Nasty Gal, Free People, PacSun, and ASOS.
What are your thoughts on exotic prints? Some people are over it, are you? Sound off below!
Till the next post guys!! Take care.
