Music Monday: Las Ardillas

A little more than a week ago, I decided to attend a event in Mayaguez featuring two popular bands in the independent rock scene. Representing the West Side were Los Petardos with their rock n roll con gandules and representing the metro area were Las Ardillas. The latter band were my main reason of wanting to go since it was their first time playing in the west. I was quite happy that I decided to go since they’re really good. The sound was terrible, but that’s normal in Dom Pepe, where the gig took place. No one sounds good in Dom Pepe so I always blame the sound guy for the angered and frustrated expressions on most lead singers faces by the end of their sets. Well, enough about me complaining, it’s music Monday and here’s the music video for “El Tren”. Enjoy and have a great week!
