In case you were disconnected from civilization in the past twenty four hours or so, this happened.
Okay ladies now let’s get in formation..
Right before Super Bowl 50 and smack dab in the middle of Mardi Gras, Beyoncé dropped “Formation” and a video for the single that looks like it was entirely made in New Orleans. The video is beautiful with a lot of strong symbolism that represents NOLA (focusing on its people and the hardships it went through post-Katrina) and black culture in general. The lyrics are so INSANE (When he f*ck me good I take his ass to Red Lobster, cause I slay.) that they deserve to be on t-shirts and written on ladies’ bathroom stalls until the end of time. The fashion, art direction and editing is A++. Did I mention that she also dropped a “Formation” collection on her website?
Personally, I love the song and its video. Beyoncé is at a point in her career where she knows how to curate herself well and can do no wrong. Keep on slayin’ Queen Bey.
What do think of “Formation”? Tell me below.

I love Beyonce’s new song/video. She owns it.
YAS! Beyoncé is amazing! This is one of my favorite Bey videos so far.
