The theme for this week’s photo challenge is summer. Summer is Puerto Rico’s only season, but during the months of June, July, and August it gets really hot, making people migrate in large crowds to the coasts and its beaches. Since this week has been a wet one around here, I didn’t get the chance to take some brand new pictures for the challenge. I decided to show one of my favorite pictures from the blog. It’s an oldie from one of the occasions that I went to my favorite beach in Puerto Rico (Playa Sucia, don’t let the name fool you), which is also one of the hardest beaches to get into due to the rough terrain. So the journey is just as good as the destination. I wrote about this beach more than a year ago.
Do you have a favorite beach? Tell me below!
Till the next post guys!! Take care.

I always wanted to visit Puerto Rico. Beautiful beaches, warm people, fun under the sun. My favorite is Boracay, an Island about 4 hours from my hometown. But any beach I’m into it.
You’d love Puerto Rico. If you ever visit the island, I recommend you the west coast. It’s less touristy and expensive than San Juan. Also you’d love Flamenco Beach (in Culebra island), it’s known all over the world. I saw pictures of Boracay and it looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing and commenting.

Love it – right now my favorite beach is the ne we can walk to from my daughter’s house – because my grandson is always part of that trip!
Aww that’s so sweet. Must be great living near the beach during the summer. Thanks for commenting.
