Now what kind of person would I be if I didn’t promote and write about an upcoming local fashion event? I’d be going against what I stated in my “About” section almost two years ago. So here it goes.
The fourth edition of West Fashion Week is almost upon us. I want to be excited but I’m not. I’ll answer your “Why?” shortly. The event will take place in the very cool Rincon of the Seas Grand Caribbean Hotel in Rincón, Puerto Rico on April 20, 21, and 22. The first two nights will consist of local, up and coming designers, along with established designers, presenting their collections for the upcoming Fall/Winter and Resort seasons. On Sunday, “Fashion Runway for Real People” will be taking place. This last event is for charity, benefiting the “Niños Regazo de Paz” home. Remember, charity is always stylish. For more info on tickets and events please call 787-630-5642.
This is the list of designers that will present their collections on West Fashion Week:
Up and Coming:
Ana María Mariana
…and the always consistent Lisa Thon
Why am I lacking on the excitement for such a great event? Well it’s because I’m probably not going. Unfortunately, although I’ve been working for more than two and a half months on my current job, I still haven’t seen the monetary fruits of my labor due to irresponsible supervisors that believe that I eat air and that my bat mobile solely runs on water. It sucks and it hasn’t been easy. Subject closed.
So, are you intrigued? Are you going to West Fashion Week? You should.
Have a great Monday!
Till the next post guys!! Take care.
