Miista SS18|En Pleno Aire

En Pleno Aire SS18 is a pastiche of Laura’s childhood memories of a beautiful farm on the Atlantic coast of Galicia. Unexpected materials led by functional silhouettes are a nod to traditional methods. Natural raffia embroidery, crochet and breathable hand-woven leathers in a patchwork of cornflower blues, sunny yellows and oatmeal whites plucked from nature’s palette.

Miista just published their look book for their SS18 collection: En Pleno Aire.

I love how elaborate and complex the shoes look while still being of comfortable height. These are the type of shoes I can wear to work and then for a night out. The type of shoes I can wear for weekend shopping or Sunday brunch. The type of shoes that I can travel with and actually wear while travelling. And they’re the type of shoes that will have people looking at your feet and tell you “Your shoes are beautiful, where did you get them?”

The collection is divided into 4 colors: Red, Black, Purple and nude. I would my favorite style in each color group and wouldn’t wear anything else throughout the season… except sneakers. The raffia styles are so gorgeous. I’ve been seeing this style for a while and maybe it’s time to get a pair. Check out the look book below! For the shoes visit Miista’s website (UK/USA) and tell me what you think of the shoes in the comments.
