…de INTENSO porque esa es la palabra para describir el verano 2011. Hasta  ahora ha empezado con el pie derecho (Coors Light Indie Fest) y ahora le sigue lo demás:

…of INTENSE because that’s the word that defines this summer of 2011. It has begun well (for now) thanks to the Coors Light Indie Fest, now on to the rest.

El 17 y 18 de junio se llevará a cabo el West Fashion Week en Rincón. / West Fashion Week will be happening in Rincon during the 17 and 18 of June.

El evento de moda más importante del área oeste estará de regreso éste verano y por lo que veo en las promociones va a estar muy bueno. Para ésta edición, además de los diseñadores del patio, las diseñadoras Reydira Medina y  Glenny Hernández de Florida (U.S.) y República Dominicana respectivamente presentarán sus colecciones para Otoño/Invierno 2011 y Resort 2012. El evento será durante los días 17 y 18 en el Hotel Rincón of the Seas en Rincón, Puerto Rico. Como es de costumbre el itinerario se dividirá en dos partes el viernes 17 (Nóveles y Colecciones) y en tres el sábado 18 (Moda Infantil, Niños y Pre-Teen, Nóveles y Colecciones). The most important fashion event of the west coast will be back this summer and better than ever. Two foreign designers will be presenting their collections this time around: Reydira Medina from Florida (U.S.) and Glenny Hernández from the Dominican Republic. West Fashion Week will be happening during June 17 and 18 at the Rincon of the Seas Grand Caribbean Hotel in Rincón, Puerto Rico. The itinerary for the Fall/Winter 2011 and Resort 2012 edition will be similar to past WFW events: Nóveles (new designers) and established designers’ collections on Friday, and on Saturday the Children and Pre Teen Fashion presentation will be added to the (similar to Friday’s) schedule. ♪Talkin’ about my graduation♪

El 26 de junio es mi graduación de bachillerato. Me gradúo con un bachillerato de ciencias en Matemáticas – Educación de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Mayagüez alias COLEGIO. Estoy bien orgullosa de mí y emocionada ya que este es el fin de una gran etapa y el comienzo de otra que será mejor aún. Así que lo que me voy a poner ese día de días es súper importante (duh!). Definitivamente será material para un post.

On June 26 I will officially graduate from college. I graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics – Education from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. I’m very proud of myself and excited since this is the end of one great phase and the beginning of an even better one. So the most important thing I’ve been thinking about for months (seriously) is my outfit for that day of days. It will definitely be blog post material.

Nos vamos pa’ los Niuyores

En algún momento durante la semana que le sigue a mi graduación viajaré hacia los “niuyores” (New Jersey to be more exact) y estaré por allá durante dos semanas. Mis metas son hacer y deshacer por allá.

After graduation I’ll be vacationing in the United States for two weeks and my main goals are to destroy and conquer!

My Summer Vacation to do list:

• Ir a la exhibición de Alexander McQueen en el MET.
• Ir de “vintage” shopping a Brooklyn (y American Apparel).
• Ir a una tienda Chanel y salir con una bolsita que tenga un frasco de Chanel No. 5 dentro de ella.
• Ir al “Jersey Shore” (Seaside Heights).
• Party (a lot) and have (a lot of) fun.
• Etcetera
